Ø Assists in admitting patients to the Electronic Health Record. The patient Access is responsible for patient access activities for the facility. This position will complete daily practices in registration. Additional tasks may include identification and assignment of charges, various data entry functions, and patient financial education. Coordination with patient accounts, clinical departments, and HIM will be required to ensure effective and efficient practices across departments. The position may maintain and assess statistical reports related to continuous process improvement and ongoing regulatory compliance.

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are required with strong attention to detail are required. Must be able to multi-task and work cooperatively with difficult customers and multiple internal and external partners.
• Requires advance computer skills including Word and Excel. Previous clinical or financial experience preferred. Related certification is a plus.
